Welcome to the Family
There's a better way to live…
and it's because of Jesus
You don't have to rearrange your life to get here. Come as you are, park where we point, and we'll have coffee and someone friendly waiting. Nobody will ask you to stand up, sign anything, or explain why you came.
Step one
Pick a Sunday service
Every service is the same teaching and the same band. The difference is the room.
- Where
- 16845 Hicks Road, Los Gatos
- How long
- About 70 minutes
- Wear
- Whatever you own
- Cost
- Guests never give
What to expect
An hour on a Sunday
No hoops, no cameras on you, no one asking you to stand up and introduce yourself. Here's the whole thing, start to finish.
15 min before
You pull in
Someone in a blue vest waves you into guest parking by the main doors. Kids check-in is the first table you see.
First 20
Worship
A live band, lyrics on the screen, lights up enough that no one's watching you. Sing or don't.
Next 35
Teaching
One passage, plain language, something to actually do with it on Monday. Bring a Bible or use the app.
After
The patio
Coffee, The HUB for questions, and no pressure to stay. Leave whenever you like.
- In Spanish
- Venture En Español meets in the chapel at 11:45am — misma enseñanza, en tu idioma.
- Accessibility
- Step-free entrance on the north side, reserved seating at the back, and a quiet room off the lobby.
- Bring
- Nothing. A Bible if you have one; the passage is on the screen either way.
- Students
- BLAST for 6th–8th grade runs during the 10am service. High schoolers meet Wednesday nights.
Getting here
Park, walk in, done
Guest parking
Marked spots straight ahead of the Hicks Road entrance. Vests will wave you in.
Kids check-in
First tent on your right. Two minutes if you pre-registered, five if you didn't.
Coffee, then the Worship Center
Back rows and aisle seats stay open on purpose. Late is fine; walk in whenever.

Your first stop after the service
The HUB is the open space off the patio where a real person answers real questions. Info, classes & scheduling all live here — no forms, no sign-up sheet, no follow-up you didn't ask for. Walk up, ask, walk away.
What you can ask about
- Life Groups
- Where they meet and which one has room
- Classes
- First Step, Foundations, BetterMan, marriage
- Serving
- An hour a week, matched to what you're good at
- Prayer
- Someone will pray with you right there
- Kids & Students

- Support

Coming with kids

Venture Kids
Birth through 5th grade get their own building, their own leaders, and a security tag that matches yours. Check in online Saturday night and skip the line entirely.
- Every leader is background-checked and trained.
- Allergies, sensory needs, or a nervous first-timer — tell us and we'll plan for it.
- We text you if your kid needs you. You keep your phone.

What we're after
The Venture Way
Seven practices we keep coming back to. Not a program to sign up for — the shape of a life that works better. Learn them at your own pace; nobody's keeping score.

After your first Sunday
Three ways in
Pick one. You can do the other two later, or never — this isn't a ladder.

First Step
One hour, first Sunday of the month, right after the 10am service. Who we are, what we believe, and how to find your people. Lunch included.
Save a seat →
Life Groups
A handful of people who know the real you and keep showing up anyway. Groups meet weeknights in homes across the valley.
Find a group →- Baptism
Get baptized
An outward symbol for those who believe. It doesn't save anyone — it says out loud what already happened. We baptize a few times a year, and family is welcome.

Plan your visit
Two fields. We'll text you parking directions Saturday, print your kids' tags ahead of time, and have someone at the door who knows your name. No phone calls, no drop-ins, no follow-up you didn't ask for.
- One text Saturday, one Sunday morning. That's it.
- Plans change with no penalty — nobody chases you.
Questions
The things people actually ask
Still stuck? Call the office weekdays 9am-4pm, or email and a real person answers.
408.997.4600
No. We don't ask guests to stand, wear anything, or fill out a card. If you want to talk to someone, The HUB on the patio is staffed after every service.
10am is the fullest and the easiest to blend into. 8:15am is quieter and parking is wide open. 11:45am runs alongside Venture En Español.
No. Plenty of people here are still deciding, and questions are welcome out loud. Come skeptical; nobody's going to corner you.
Guests don't give. There's no plate passed down the row — giving happens online or at a box by the doors, and it's for people who call Venture home.
Not at all — a good share of the room came alone this morning. If you'd rather not sit by yourself, tell us in the plan form and someone will save you a seat and sit with you.
The short version: there's a better way to live, and it's because of Jesus. Our mission is to reach the Bay for Christ, and the Seven Practices above are how we go about it. First Step covers the longer version in an hour.
We'll save you a seat.
Tell us you're coming and we'll have someone meet you at the door — with your kids' tags already printed.
